Ameren Missouri has filed a proposal to expand its energy efficiency and demand response programs, planning to invest $370 million over three years. If approved by the Missouri Public Service Commission, the programs will run from 2025 to 2027, targeting both residential and business customers. The initiative aims to save energy equivalent to the consumption of 67,000 average Missouri homes.

Key features include:

1. Rebates and Incentives: 25 programs offering higher-efficiency air conditioning, heating systems, and auto-adjustable thermostats.

2. Income-eligible Initiatives: Focused on multifamily households, single families, and social services.

3. Multifamily Property Incentives: Customers can receive at least 20 cents per kilowatt-hour of energy saved in the first year.

4. Current Program Success: Example of Chateau Roi Apartments saving more than $192,000 in incentives by installing energy-efficient equipment.

5. Demand-Response Programs: Encouraging users to adjust energy usage to save costs, including the Peak Time Savings program with smart thermostats.

Ameren aims to attract over 80,000 enrollments by the end of 2027, providing various opportunities for customers to reduce their energy costs and helping vulnerable customers significantly.
